Counselling for Charity Sector workers

An EAP counselling service provides confidential support to individuals facing personal and/or work-related issues. Explora's counselling service supports individuals currently working in the charity sector.

Charity organisations have faced a number of challenges since the pandemic and some of these will continue affecting the sector negatively for some time to come.

Charity staff will most likely be directly affected by these challenges, which could in turn also impact their mental and physical health.

I provide counselling and coaching for professionals working in the Charity or Not-for-profit sector in the UK and globally. I have gained vast experience working with and in charities in a variety of roles over the last 10 years.

Working with a professional Coach or a Counsellor can support you with the following:

  • Transitioning from Employee to Manager

  • Developing strategies to manage workload

  • Developing healthy habits

  • Supporting your overall mental health in the workplace/working remotely

  • Dealing with transitions such as redundancy, reaching pension age, time in-between jobs, returning mothers, career breaks, grievance procedures to name a few.

  • Managing stress, burnout, anxiety.

  • Dealing with “imposter syndrome”

The above are only a few examples of common challenges individuals bring to sessions. Please contact me to discuss your specific needs.
