My Approach

The foundation of my practice is the person-centered approach developed by Carl Rogers. This approach aims to create an environment where you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings, helping you grow and reach your full potential.

Having worked extensively with survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence, I have vast experience of working with CPTSD (Complex Post Traumatic symptoms) so my practice is embedded in a trauma informed approach. I also focus on the importance of relationships, aiming to create a strong working alliance between us, in a non-judgmental and safe space to explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings.

As we work together, we can explore different approaches that may be helpful, including:

  • Tuning into emerging emotions and noticing how they manifest in our bodies.

  • Understanding unconscious processes and how they affect our relationships.

  • Practicing mindfulness and being present in the moment.

  • Considering our human experiences and the influence of the social systems around us.

  • Honoring our beliefs, our connection to a higher self, and the value of transpersonal experiences.

This journey is about finding what resonates with you and supporting your growth in a way that feels right.

By having an integrative approach we can focus on what is helpful to you, so you can get to the root of issues in a more holistic way.
