Hi, welcome to my site. My name is Fabiola, I’m an integrative counsellor, psychotherapist and coach.

I offer integrative counseling and psychotherapy, which means I use a flexible approach that combines different therapeutic theories to best support my clients' needs.

Drawing from a diverse background, I have honed my skills as a therapist through my training, my lived experience, my work in different sectors and private practice.

Currently, I am deeply committed to empowering survivors of sexual violence at a rape crisis centre in London. I have also dedicated myself to supporting minoritised women survivors of domestic and gender violence in previous roles.

No matter where you are in your healing process, you’re not alone. I’m here to walk with you, offering a safe space every step of the way.

If you’re curious about how working with me might help you, feel free to reach out.

The foundation of my practice is based on the person-centered approach developed by Carl Rogers. This approach aims to create an environment where you can freely explore your thoughts and feelings, helping you grow and reach your full potential.

Having worked extensively with survivors of domestic abuse and sexual violence, I have vast experience of working with C-PTSD and other trauma presentations and so my practice is embedded in a trauma informed approach. I also focus on the importance of relationships, aiming to create a strong working alliance between us, in a non-judgmental and safe space to explore your experiences, thoughts and feelings.

Our work may also involve looking at various approaches and ideas, if appropriate, including:

  • Somatic (Paying attention to any emotions and how they are felt in the body)

  • Psychodynamic (Looking at unconscious processes and their impact on relationship dynamics)

  • Mindfulness (Practicing being aware of the present moment)

  • Societal (Taking into account our human experience and the impact of the social systems we live in)

  • Spiritual (Honouring our beliefs, our connection with a higher self and/or transpersonal experiencing)

By having an integrative approach we can focus on what is helpful to you, so you can get to the root of issues in a more holistic way.

My experience

I've had the privilege of working with people from all walks of life, addressing a wide range of challenges, for example:

  • Anxiety, stress, and depression

  • Neurodivergence (ADHD, dyslexia)

  • Life transitions (new job, moving, redundancies, pregnancy, new diagnoses, menopause)

  • Grief and loss

  • Work-related stress

  • Career related issues

  • Relationships

  • Attachment

  • Separation and divorce

  • Issues related to sexuality

  • Self-esteem and self-worth

  • Intergenerational trauma

  • Immigration trauma

  • PTSD and C-PTSD symptoms

I am dedicated to continual learning and regularly participate in professional development. Additionally, I am a registered member of the BACP and abide by their Ethical Framework for the Counseling Profession.

This means my practice is based on principles of integrity and ethical conduct. I also engage in regular supervision sessions to support my own self-care and to provide a safe and ethical space for my clients to explore and heal.
